Polanco is one of the swanky CDMX neighborhoods, but above all, safe. The one in the back facing Campos Eliseos (Champs Elysées in Spanish!) is where I got my Uber rides. There is a very convenient ATM behind the concierge stand. The lobby downstairs is cavernous and the elevator bank had about a half dozen elevators. I arrived as a Hyatt Explorist member and solo American traveler, and was fortunate enough to get upgraded to a king bed room on the 30th floor with a stunning view of the Chapultepec Park. I had the pleasure of vacationing at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City for a week.
